You can solve many leaks on a metal roof if you do this simple trick. Just a hammer and you can prevent many leaks on a commercial metal roof. If your commercial roof has leaks that are close to the outside wall, then the issue is most likely water that flows back into the wall under the metal roof.
Bending the very end of each metal panel slightly down by tapping it with a hammer will prevent water to flow backward into the building. At the same time look for holes that were created by screws and fasteners. Make sure to caulk these holes and tighten screws that are loose.
