- Shelf life after opening: 1 month (adequately sealed). Depending on the moisture and air trapped inside, it will form a thick skin after opening.
- Applying a protective coating over the TPS against Ultra Violets is essential. Any paint can be used a few hours after curing.

Note: When repairing or sealing leaks with Turbo Poly Seal, ensure the surface is clean and free from oils, water, silicone, and debris. Applying over existing Tar and caulking will eventually fail.
Use a grinder with a wire brush to remove the bulk of old tar and caulking. Use Lacquer Thinners to remove any silicone residue. When grinding over silicone caulk, a very thin, unnoticeable film is left on the surface that should be removed.
