Formulated with a unique blend of urethane and asphalt, it delivers superior elasticity and strong adhesion. For added durability and to prevent cracking at transitions, apply polyester fleece with the sealant.

Turbo Poly Seal – Important Information & Application Guidelines
Availability:
Turbo Poly Seal is not available at Home Depot or Lowe’s. It is sold online only. We are unable to ship to Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska due to customs and regulatory restrictions.
Product Characteristics:

During shipping, a skin may form on the surface inside the can (approximately 1/4 inch thick). This is normal and does not affect the product’s performance.

The shelf life after opening is approximately one month if the product is properly sealed. However, exposure to moisture and air can cause the product to develop a thick skin over time.

Please note that the product will not adhere to glass or silicone-coated surfaces. Additionally, it is not compatible with EPDM rubber, so do not use Turbo Poly Seal on EPDM surfaces.
- Turbo Poly Seal will bond to the Aluminum Asphalt (Silver) Coating, but the issue is that the Silver Coating itself can peel away from the surface beneath it. Therefore, you must remove the Silver Coating before applying Turbo Poly Seal.

- Vent Flashing – around vent pipes, stove pipes, electrical conduits, and other penetrations
- Curbs – A/C curbs, Skylight curbs
- Flashing – Transition from asphalt rubber roof to metal drip-edge, Parapet wall flashing, Curb flashing
- Seams – Torch Down Rubber seams, TPO seams, Asphalt roof patches, Parapet wall, Metal Caps seams, Half pipe Cap seams
- Walls – cement, brick, block cracks, concrete
- Wood – fill or close seams between different wood surfaces
Skylight Repairs:
Do not use Turbo Poly Seal on skylights. Instead, use Super Silicone Seal, which is designed for that purpose.
Temperature Range for Application:
Usable in temperatures as low as 20˚F and above.
UV Protection:
Apply any standard exterior paint a few hours after curing to protect the sealant from UV degradation.

Surface Preparation is Critical for a Successful Seal:
Before applying Turbo Poly Seal:

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of oils, silicone, tar, and debris.

Do not apply over existing tar or caulking, as it will eventually fail. – It will adhere to Tar, but be sure the Tar is not dry and peeling up

Use a grinder with a wire brush to remove old tar and caulk.

For surfaces previously treated with silicone, use lacquer thinner to remove any remaining residue. Even a thin, invisible film of silicone can prevent proper adhesion.

| Important | Always use Polyester Fleece when sealing seams, cracks, or transitions between surfaces. It is not necessary when applying a coating to a smooth, continuous surface. If you apply sealant directly over a transition without using Polyester Fleece, it will eventually crack at that point. This is why incorporating the fleece is essential—it reinforces the coating and prevents failure at weak spots. |
